    HR & Resourcing Manager

    Reporting to the Chief Executive, the role is critical to ensuring that we look after and develop our greatest asset – our people.  Whilst this is a mid-management role at the moment, we expect that the role will grow and expand in the medium-term as the business is growing quickly.

    The role, therefore, offers a superb opportunity for a HR generalist with specific interest in resourcing to enable the business growth and support its exciting, forecasted expansion. 

    The role requires flexibility and initiative in delivering a range of duties beyond those noted below – which may be required in order to further the interests and success of embracent.

    We are looking to appoint either part or full time but require a minimum of 3 days per week initially, with flexibility to increase hours as the business expands.  

    The role is based remotely with a requirement to travel to the head office in central London for various meetings and social gatherings.

    Key HR Responsibilities
    • Create, own and implement the People Strategy for the business 
    • Support in the delivery of strategic initiatives for the HR function and companywide employee engagement.
    • Own and review all HR policies and procedures, ensuring best practice and adherence to employment legislation.
    • Owner of the employee wellbeing agenda 
    • Owner of our diversity and inclusion agenda and ensure embracent demonstrate their values consistently at all times.
    • Ensure our employee value proposition is embedded in the embracent culture and way of working. 
    • Implement the Employee Engagement Survey – analysis of results and recommend actions and new initiatives.
    • Design and implement the performance appraisal framework in 2021 and embed it throughout the organisation for 2021 performance reviews.
    • Responsible for the provision of people data analytics to the Board, identifying trends and utilise data to drive decision making and areas of focus.
    • Support management with annual training plans and budgeting requirements for their teams
    • Provide internal line management training on HR related people matters; to include performance management, managing appraisals and absence management. 
    • Accountable for reviewing reward and benefits and where necessary research and embed new benefits.
    • Culture development – drive our Employee Value Proposition and strive to ensure that we live our values internally and drive innovation and improvement.
    • Support managers with all employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievances and absence.
    Key Resourcing Responsibilities
    • Accountable for delivery of all resourcing across the organisation by development of the recruitment strategy.
    • To develop and implement effective recruitment practice, policy, and procedures for the support and development of high performing teams.
    • To be responsible for all resourcing activity, both permanent and associates by managing internal and external relationships with resource providers.
    • To monitor, evaluate and report on resourcing populations to inform and enable resource planning and manage temporary resource expenditure.
    • Identifying skills gaps through training needs analyse and liaising with management to review prospects and ensure embracent can offer appropriate levels of experience to clients.
    • Develop the competency framework tool and ownership of career development for the organisation.
    • Generate an excellent talent pool for the business by identifying requirements, liaising with third party agencies or obtain talent directly.
    • Manage the recruitment process end to end; support with selection, interviewing and candidate management and ensure all candidates have an excellent and professional experience.
    • Accountable for compliance; all onboarding and right to work checks and references etc.
    Personal Profile
    • Agile and adaptable working style with the desire to grow and learn
    • Ability to create strong working relationships remotely and in person with colleagues.
    • CIPD qualified (Associate CIPD or equivalent) with 5+ years’ experience within HR and Resourcing environment. 
    • Thorough up to date knowledge of common employment law.
    • Experienced with developing or updating a People Strategy, and desire to bring challenge, promote new ideas and initiatives to the Board and other stakeholders.
    • Previous experience as being responsible for a resourcing function and ability to demonstrate deliverance of internal resourcing requirements.
    • Experience of interpreting data and translating it into value-adding strategic recommendation.
    • Preference of experience establishing a HR function for a new business.

    Business Analyst

    With the consistent growth of the business, we are looking to recruit a Business Analyst.  

    The role will be based either from client site or from the Head Office in Central London (but will be initially home based due to COVID-19). It is essential that all interested applicants are prepared to travel where our clients are.  

    The role requires flexibility in applying effort to a range of duties beyond those noted below, as is required to further the interests and success of embracent.  We very much welcome initiative in the appointed colleague as the role will be shaped and developed over time.

    Key Responsibilities

    You will work with businesses to really understand their people, processes and technology, driving excellence across all three through Business Process Modelling, Process Simplification, Digitalisation & Automation, utilising a Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement Culture, Approach and Toolkit.

    • Mapping end-to-end business processes and identifying efficiency opportunities including removal of non value-added wastes, automating data flows and integrating systems. 
    • Facilitating discovery and improvement workshops, gathering functional business requirements and translating them into technical requirements
    • Building business cases to detail efficiency benefits realisation through return on investment and payback period 
    • Designing and supporting the user testing and acceptance criteria, facilitating change management of implemented solutions  
    • Working with clients and stakeholders on the use of Automation technologies and best practice, embedding robust and reliable processes 
    • Developing Centre-of-Excellence capabilities for our clients, helping them define and implement long-term people, process, and automation strategies, considering all process excellence dimensions in order to continuously improve.

    Required Experience
    • Extensive experience in business process designs and facilitation. 
    • Business Process Modelling experience with Microsoft Office tools 
    • Understanding/experience of lean six sigma and process optimisation/ business transformation projects 
    • Showcase good analytical and evaluating skills including:
      • Ability to collect, interpret and analyse data.
      • Gathering functional business requirements and translating to technical terms
      • Identification, prioritisation, and delivery of process efficiencies
      • Design and facilitation of Improvement Workshops
      • Benefits definition and realisation
    • Solid understanding of emerging and disruptive technologies and their implementation methodologies.
    • Curiosity and tenacity to explore beyond the immediate circumstances to identify further improvements
    • Strong ability to build relationships, able to work with people across all levels from front-line agents to senior management, communication is conducive to a joined-up customer experience.
    • Able to work as a team member in a highly dynamic and innovative environment, building effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels / locations  
    • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
    • Aptitude to learn and make a difference

    Desirable Experience
    • Process automation and Finance industry knowledge
    • Certified in Automation/BI technologies or an aptitude to learn
    • Certified Business Analyst or LSS Green/Black Belt Level
    • Experience of Process Mining and technologies
    • Degree in technology or Business-related discipline

    The Technology Programme Manager will be part of the central Group PMO function and work closely with the team in the delivery of business change and digital solutions for embracent customers

    The Technology Programme Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of projects that need to run in an efficient and effective manner.  Key focus will be required to ensure delivery within agreed timescales, budgets and conformance to agreed requirements. They are responsible for the efficient utilisation of assigned staff and any associated third parties and for ensuring that all project activities conform to embracent quality management standards and processes.

    embracent deliver projects using a variety of technologies and as such the project manager may be responsible for delivery of solutions in different disciplines.  They will also focus in the business change aspects of any technology delivery

    Key Responsibilities
    • Plans and manages assigned projects, keeping customer and senior management informed about project progress through reporting
    • Compiles and agrees the project plan with the client
    • Compiles and agrees with the client any Statements of Work in line with contractual arrangements with the client
    • Monitors progress against project plan and budget, correcting and / or escalating abnormal situations
    • Maintains the Project Plan, with forecast completion dates and impact analysis
    • Tracks actual costs vs plan
    • Maintains awareness of all ongoing non-trivial problems towards their solution. Ensures that project objectives are met
    • Monitors and controls all individuals allocated to the project ensuring that all project activities are carried out in accordance with the appropriate standards.
    • Ensures Risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies are managed effectively
    Required Experience
    • Must have proven track record as Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager
    • Experience in managing multi-disciplined teams
    • Proven track record of managing high value projects and programmes in some of the following areas: Business Transformation, Digital Transformation, Digital Strategy & Implementation, Customer Experience, Business Intelligence, Business Process Optimisation, Change Management, Shared Services Transformation
    • Exposure to running full cycle IT transformation projects and a good technical understanding and a grasp of the key elements
    • Prince 2 Practitioner / certified APM professional
    • Experienced in Agile and Waterfall project management, ideally with direct experience and knowledge of tools including Jira, VSTS, TFS, and of methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
    • Ability to engage at Director/C-level on strategic consulting projects
    • Excellent time management skills with demonstrable experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in a complex environment
    • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening): an ability to present information concisely, to communicate in a manner applicable to all levels
    • A strong consulting toolkit and stakeholder management skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology and style
    • Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards
    • Some exposure to other emerging technology projects such as Robotic Process Automation, AI and Machine Learning is desirable
