    Finance Transformation Consultant

    Our Finance Transformation Consultants support the growth of our high performing functions consulting capability, working alongside our clients to inform, shape, integrate and separate their corporate functions and deliver transformational change. As such, the role covers business development, client relationship building, quality delivery and capability development.

    embracent delivers change, often enabled through technology. Therefore, the individual(s) may be responsible for delivery of client solutions that include organisation design, process improvement, integrations and separations, ERP, Finance systems, Robotic Process Automation and Business Intelligence.

    Our Finance Transformation Consultants run finance and back-office transformation engagements of any size in an efficient and effective manner, and are responsible for their delivery within agreed timescales, budgets and conformance to agreed requirements.  They are responsible for the efficient utilisation of assigned staff and any associated third parties and for ensuring that all project activities conform to embracent quality management standards and processes.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Business development, working with senior client stakeholders to shape target operating models, injecting external insights and developing proposals that secure embracent led projects and programmes of work.
    • Plans and manages the delivery of Finance and back-office projects, keeping client and embracent senior management informed about progress.
    • Compiles and agrees the project plan with the client, and Statements of Work in line with contractual arrangements with the client.
    • Monitors progress against project plan and budget, correcting and / or escalating abnormal situations, forecasting completion dates and impact analysis.
    • Ensures that project objectives and client outcomes are met.
    • Monitors and manages all individuals allocated to the project ensuring that all project activities are carried out in accordance with the appropriate standards. 
    • Ensures risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies are managed effectively.
    • Injects insights and leading practices into client engagements and engages with embracent technology teams to explore technology-led benefits with clients.
    • Builds our high performing functions propositions, capabilities and solutions, driving the awareness and capability across our team.
    • Supports marketing initiatives and client round-table events, adding insight and experience to position embracent as a trusted advisor.
    Required Experience
    • An established Finance Transformation consultant with a proven track record of developing and delivering back-office transformation projects.  At least 5 years’ experience in Big 4 (or similar) consulting or transformation and change roles.
    • Degree educated or equivalent, with a recognised accounting qualification.
    • Ability to develop client relationships and produce compelling proposals.
    • Able to leverage their external network, promote embracent and our values and build pipeline opportunities and support their conversion.
    • Demonstrable experience in strategy/vision development and Finance/back-office target operating model design, process efficiency and effectiveness, business intelligence and decision support.
    • Track record of successful delivery of transformational change in Finance and across the back-office.
    • Experience of M&A driven integration and separation of Finance and other corporate functions, working at pace in a private equity backed or similar environment.
    • Experience in Finance systems and ERP implementation, familiar with technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, PowerBI and reporting tools.
    • An understanding and some exposure to the benefits of emerging technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, AI and Machine Learning is desirable.
    • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams of more than 5 staff.
    • Very strong Microsoft Office skills particularly with Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel and Word.
    • Excellent time management skills with demonstrable experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of C-Suite and senior client relationships.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening): an ability to present information concisely, to communicate in a manner applicable to all levels.
    • Able to produce high quality and professional presentations.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology and style.
    • Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards.

    Business Analyst

    With the consistent growth of the business, we are looking to recruit a Business Analyst.  

    The role will be based either from client site or from the Head Office in Central London (but will be initially home based due to COVID-19). It is essential that all interested applicants are prepared to travel where our clients are.  

    The role requires flexibility in applying effort to a range of duties beyond those noted below, as is required to further the interests and success of embracent.  We very much welcome initiative in the appointed colleague as the role will be shaped and developed over time.

    Key Responsibilities

    You will work with businesses to really understand their people, processes and technology, driving excellence across all three through Business Process Modelling, Process Simplification, Digitalisation & Automation, utilising a Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement Culture, Approach and Toolkit.

    • Mapping end-to-end business processes and identifying efficiency opportunities including removal of non value-added wastes, automating data flows and integrating systems. 
    • Facilitating discovery and improvement workshops, gathering functional business requirements and translating them into technical requirements
    • Building business cases to detail efficiency benefits realisation through return on investment and payback period 
    • Designing and supporting the user testing and acceptance criteria, facilitating change management of implemented solutions  
    • Working with clients and stakeholders on the use of Automation technologies and best practice, embedding robust and reliable processes 
    • Developing Centre-of-Excellence capabilities for our clients, helping them define and implement long-term people, process, and automation strategies, considering all process excellence dimensions in order to continuously improve.

    Required Experience
    • Extensive experience in business process designs and facilitation. 
    • Business Process Modelling experience with Microsoft Office tools 
    • Understanding/experience of lean six sigma and process optimisation/ business transformation projects 
    • Showcase good analytical and evaluating skills including:
      • Ability to collect, interpret and analyse data.
      • Gathering functional business requirements and translating to technical terms
      • Identification, prioritisation, and delivery of process efficiencies
      • Design and facilitation of Improvement Workshops
      • Benefits definition and realisation
    • Solid understanding of emerging and disruptive technologies and their implementation methodologies.
    • Curiosity and tenacity to explore beyond the immediate circumstances to identify further improvements
    • Strong ability to build relationships, able to work with people across all levels from front-line agents to senior management, communication is conducive to a joined-up customer experience.
    • Able to work as a team member in a highly dynamic and innovative environment, building effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels / locations  
    • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
    • Aptitude to learn and make a difference

    Desirable Experience
    • Process automation and Finance industry knowledge
    • Certified in Automation/BI technologies or an aptitude to learn
    • Certified Business Analyst or LSS Green/Black Belt Level
    • Experience of Process Mining and technologies
    • Degree in technology or Business-related discipline

    Technology Programme Manager

    The Technology Programme Manager will be part of the central Group PMO function and work closely with the team in the delivery of business change and digital solutions for embracent customers

    The Technology Programme Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of projects that need to run in an efficient and effective manner.  Key focus will be required to ensure delivery within agreed timescales, budgets and conformance to agreed requirements. They are responsible for the efficient utilisation of assigned staff and any associated third parties and for ensuring that all project activities conform to embracent quality management standards and processes.

    embracent deliver projects using a variety of technologies and as such the project manager may be responsible for delivery of solutions in different disciplines.  They will also focus in the business change aspects of any technology delivery

    Key Responsibilities
    • Plans and manages assigned projects, keeping customer and senior management informed about project progress through reporting
    • Compiles and agrees the project plan with the client
    • Compiles and agrees with the client any Statements of Work in line with contractual arrangements with the client
    • Monitors progress against project plan and budget, correcting and / or escalating abnormal situations
    • Maintains the Project Plan, with forecast completion dates and impact analysis
    • Tracks actual costs vs plan
    • Maintains awareness of all ongoing non-trivial problems towards their solution. Ensures that project objectives are met
    • Monitors and controls all individuals allocated to the project ensuring that all project activities are carried out in accordance with the appropriate standards.
    • Ensures Risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies are managed effectively
    Required Experience
    • Must have proven track record as Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager
    • Experience in managing multi-disciplined teams
    • Proven track record of managing high value projects and programmes in some of the following areas: Business Transformation, Digital Transformation, Digital Strategy & Implementation, Customer Experience, Business Intelligence, Business Process Optimisation, Change Management, Shared Services Transformation
    • Exposure to running full cycle IT transformation projects and a good technical understanding and a grasp of the key elements
    • Prince 2 Practitioner / certified APM professional
    • Experienced in Agile and Waterfall project management, ideally with direct experience and knowledge of tools including Jira, VSTS, TFS, and of methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
    • Ability to engage at Director/C-level on strategic consulting projects
    • Excellent time management skills with demonstrable experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in a complex environment
    • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening): an ability to present information concisely, to communicate in a manner applicable to all levels
    • A strong consulting toolkit and stakeholder management skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology and style
    • Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards
    • Some exposure to other emerging technology projects such as Robotic Process Automation, AI and Machine Learning is desirable
